I don't think I would've answered it different. I guess if mother didn't agree with what we were being taught she certainly wouldn't have allowed them in our home. Mom always asked us questions after Mrs. Petterson left. Love was her big thing in ending all of her statements. Today I know her questions were related to the catholic Church. It may sound corny, but I hope I wouldn't have judged someone as bad or different. But, I think I can safely say, it wouldn't have change my response even if they were. In reality Jesus didn't come to write a book. He came to save the lost. It was through the individuals who followed Him, who wrote the books. Jesus spoke His word in their synagogues, He read the book of the prophets . It certainly wasn't because he couldn't write as some have thought Jn 8:3-9.; He was educated Lk 2:41-51. Jesus selected His disciples as a means of writing down all they had seen and heard. Jesus established His church (1 Tim 3:15). While the Bible is certainly a way to bring those seeking to know God, Christians can also spread the good news of our Lord. I had a habit of saying God Bless when one of my students sneezed. This worried me because of the college rules related to religion. So after much consideration, I decided to speak to our President Carl Haynes. He just smiled and said Ms Rosato you are who you are so don't worry about. If someone doesn't appreciate it, it becomes their problem not yours. I learned a lot about him that day. His love for God showed in everything he said. For one to truly be a Christian Witness, they must be living a Christian life . I know because when I walked away from God, I loss numerous Christian friends. In essence I slapped God in the face by acting as though I didn't care. Well I hope this answers your questions.

I completely agree. I think faith leads to believing and believing leads to action. Yes, everything we seek should always be based on God's will and not ours. I thought my words expressed it.?

I touched on this a little bit in my post for the last lesson, but I think that believing in god allows me to live a much more peaceful life. For me personally, believing in him makes this big, complex world a much more simple place. There is good, and there is evil not just in the world as a whole, but everything humans do. It shines light on the little decisions I make everyday and why I make those decisions.
