Meditate:
How would I react if I were granted the vision of an angel of God? Knowing that God has appointed an angel to watch over me, how does this increase my confidence in God's love and providence over my life? How can I renounce Satan and prevent myself from falling into his traps?

Pray:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

St. Bernard of Clairvaux
